Gear Pumps

Simple in design mainly consisting of casing, gears, stuffing box and relief valve. Two gears, either spur or helical type, rotate around fixed centres and thereby suck and entrap the fluid between the teeth of the gears and the casing, and pressurize the same causing fluid with pressure through the discharge port.

Uses : Transfer of Viscous Material Such As Oil, Grease, Varnish, Resins, Paints, Acid, Alkali Solvents, etc. Used in Oil Industry, Cosmetic Industry.
